The times on the buttons are the gaps Simba really uses for a new card.
Choose your level when you start, and change it any time in Profile. Each level has its own path of word sets.

The last line on each step is the Cambridge English exam aimed at that CEFR level. Simba teaches the vocabulary; it does not include exam papers.
After each card you tap Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Simba picks the next review from your answer. Remember the word and the gap grows. Miss it and the word drops back a step for more practice.
Turn on review reminders and Simba lets you know when cards are due.

A set opens with flashcards: picture, pronunciation, examples, synonyms, word origin and a translation into your language. Then you use the same words in five exercises and finish with a round of the ones you got wrong.
Finish two sets and a short quiz unlocks the next part of your path.
